User Roles

Highest-level administrator with full control over the entire Clearline system, including partners, accounts, and platform configurations.
Administrator role managing partner organizations (ISO partners), overseeing merchant onboarding and operational performance at the partner level.
Role responsible for managing a specific merchant account, including multiple locations, terminals, and marketing configurations.
User responsible for the operations and marketing management of a specific merchant location via the Clearline Marketing Center (CMC).
Role focused on sales and merchant support activities within the Clearline platform, often handling lead generation and customer relations.

Core Platform

Clearline’s integrated platform that connects POS systems to marketing tools, enabling automated promotions, customer engagement, and data collection.
Central web interface for managing roles, permissions, accounts, locations, terminals, and marketing configurations.
Location-level management portal for configuring marketing content, apps, campaigns, and monitoring performance in real time.

Hardware & Infrastructure

A display screen connected to the POS terminal that shows marketing content, QR codes, and promotions to customers at checkout.
A CFS display mode where the screen acts as a standalone kiosk, not tied directly to checkout flows but showing interactive marketing content.
Individual merchant stores or physical sites managed under a merchant account, each with its own terminals and marketing settings.
Physical POS devices or screens identified in the Clearline system, linked to specific merchant locations.
Unique codes generated for registering terminals or locations into Clearline, used during onboarding via the Admin Portal or APIs.

Marketing Features

Predefined promotional feature modules (like Coupons, Loyalty, App Download) used to engage customers via CFS, SMS, and other channels.
A marketing app built with custom content or logic, allowing merchants or partners to deliver tailored campaigns and features via Clearline.
Auto-generated, customizable landing page featuring marketing apps, used as a destination for QR scans or SMS links.
Predefined visual layouts for Customer Facing Screens, controlling the design and arrangement of marketing content displayed during transactions.
Marketing actions (e.g., SMS, MMS, email) initiated from Clearline to reach customers outside the in-store environment.
Sending promotional or informational text messages directly to customers using Clearline’s SMS distribution channels.

Integration & Configuration

The process of integrating Clearline marketing content (like QR codes or app triggers) directly into the POS checkout flow.
Combined use of the Clearline Marketing Center and Customer Facing Screens to manage and deliver synchronized marketing content across locations.
Configurable logic that defines how marketing content is triggered or displayed, based on transactional or customer behavior data from POS systems.
Optional or premium features within Clearline used for integrations, analytics, or advanced marketing configurations.
